Privacy policy
The Name Register is a small fan-made tool. Nothing you type or keep is sent to us — there is no account, no analytics and no advertising. This policy sets out everything the site stores, where it is stored, and how to change or remove it.
1. What is stored, and where
Kept names and your theme choice are stored in this browser only, after you use those controls. Storage is local to your device and is never transmitted to us. Remove names individually in Kept, or clear this site’s browser data to remove both.
2. Cookies and consent
No analytics or advertising cookies are used. Your cookie choice is stored for 180 days as either v1.all or v1.necessary, without a user identifier. Both choices currently allow the same tracker-free service.
3. Copies and share links
Copy and Keep stay in this browser. Share links place the names in the URL fragment after #; the fragment is not sent with the HTTP request, but anyone you give the link to can read it.
4. Hosting and server logs
Cloudflare processes standard connection data to deliver and protect the site. This data is used for delivery, security and abuse prevention, not for profiling or advertising.
